SIDBI win in Bank cricket

SIDBI defeated UP Co-operative Bank Ltd. by six wickets in their days match of the 18th RC Sanwal Memorial Inter Bank Cricket Tournament at LDA Stadium,Lucknow on Tuesday.

Choosing to bat first after winning the toss,UP Co-operative Bank Ltd. scored 182 runs losing five wickets in the given 25 overs. Pankaj (57) and JP Dubey (46) scored 118 runs through their second wicket partnership. Pankajs 57 came off 41 balls which featured 7 boundaries while JP Dubey’s 46 came off 53 balls which included 5 well-timed hits to the fence. Manur Sharma took two wickets while T Balaji and Keshwan collected apiece each.

In reply,SIDBI romped home after attaining the set mark in 24.5 overs with six wickets to spare. Manur Sharma (50),Keshwan (36 not out) and Vishal Jaiswal (35) batted well for the team. Manurs 50 resulted off 40 balls which featured six boundaries. JP Dubey and Bhuwan Sati took one wicket each.

UNITY Cricket Academy registered a nine wicket victory against Arman Hostel XI in a friendly match played between the two at Pt. RB Tiwari Stadium,Lucknow on Tuesday.
