Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat refused to comment on the recent statements made by former RSS national head K C Sudarshan on UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi.
Despite repeated queries by media persons after his public meeting at Motijheel lawn on Saturday evening,Bhagwat refused to comment on the issue. He said,I have already given a long speech from the stage, and have nothing further to say.
Earlier, addressing the gathering,Bhagwat said the role of Sangh parivar members has increased as politicians, political parties and people have failed to find the solution to the problems confronted by the country for past many years.
He said the problems like a fear of attack on the country, illiteracy, social insecurity and communal issues have been haunting the nation for past many years. These problems have not been created by any foreign country, and it is pointless to hold others responsible for them, he added.
The RSS chief claimed people have great hope on RSS to come forward and eradicate these problems. Therefore each member of the Sangh parivar has to lead by example, first we have to motivate our family members and thereafter the entire society, he added. During his three-day visit to the city,Bhagwat interacted with over 300 senior members of the saffron brigade belonging to Lucknow and Kanpur prants.
