The six smaller shrines are dedicated to Shiva, Ganesha, Hanuman, Surya, Bhagwati, Annapurna and Sheshavatar.
Champat Rai, general secretary of the Trust, said flagstaffs and urns have been installed in the complex.
Rai said the Sapta Mandap, a pavilion dedicated to sages Valmiki, Vashistha, Vishwamitra, Agastya, Nishadraj, Shabari and Ahalya has also been completed.
Work on the temple of Sant Tulsidas and the installation of statues of ‘Jatayu’, the vulture deity, and ‘the squirrel’ has been completed as well. “With this, all work directly related to the convenience and arrangements for visitors has been completed,” Rai said in a statement.
The remaining works, road surfacing, stone flooring, land beautification, greenery and a Panchavati project across ten acres, are progressing rapidly.
“As per the plan, road construction and stone flooring work are being carried out by L&T, while landscaping, greenery, and the development of Panchvati over 10 acres are being swiftly executed by GMR. The only ongoing works are those not directly related to the public, such as the 3.5-kilometer-long boundary wall, trust office, guest house, auditorium, etc.” the Trust said on X.
The trust is preparing for a flag-hoisting ceremony on November 25 to officially mark the completion of the main temple. A three-day programme is planned from November 23 to 25.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to participate in the final flag-hoisting event. The trust said the guest list for the ceremony this year will place greater emphasis on local residents from neighbouring areas and on broader representation from different sections of society.
