Rajesh wins singles title

Rajesh Kumar of NHPC defeated Gurpreet Singh of BBMB by 16-21,21-18,21-12 in the final to bag the top honours in the men’s singles event in the All India Inter CPSU Badminton Tournament 2011 at UP Badminton Academy,Lucknow. The tournament was organised by Power Grid Corporation of India.

Men’s singles: Rajesh Kumar (NHPC) beat Gurpreet Singh (BBMB) 16-21,21-18,21-12;

Men’s doubles final: R Bansal (SJVNL) lost to Gurpreet & Sanjeev (BBMB) 21-13,11-21,9-21;

Veterans doubles final: Vipin Sharma & Rakesh Bansal (SJVNL) beat Shashi Kant & Rajesh Kumar (NHPC) 21-9,21-19.
