Newborn abandoned at hospital gate

A day-old baby girl was handed over to Childline volunteers on Monday by the Gomti Nagar police. According to Childline volunteers,the visually-impaired newborn was found at gate number 2 of Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital. The hospital staff handed over the baby to the Gomti Nagar police. The child has been sent to the state children’s home at Prag Narain Road.
