Missing boy found murdered

The police have found the beheaded body of a 17-year-old boy,Adarsh Patel,who had been missing from Lucknow since Sunday.

The police have found the beheaded body of a 17-year-old boy,Adarsh Patel,who had been missing from Lucknow since Sunday.

The body,found on Monday evening, was identified by his father Pratap Singh,a school teacher in Unnao. A student of Class XI at the Lucknow Public School,Adarsh stayed with his elder sisters Ruby and Ruchi,who teach in a private school in Lucknow.

After their brother failed to return on Sunday,they had filed a report at Talkatora police station. According to Unnao police,they were informed about the beheaded body of a boy,clad in school uniform lying,in Bangarmau locality. After getting to understand that the uniform was of a Lucknow school,they contacted their counterparts in Lucknow and came to know that Adarsh had been missing.

They informed Adarsh’s father Pratap Singh,who lives in Unnao’s Soharamau locality

“We have informed Adarsh’s sisters,” said Station Officer of Talkatora,Sudhir Pal Dhama. According to him,Adarsh’s sisters had told police that on Sunday afternoon,Adarsh had left the house after receiving a phone call. The caller had asked him to immediately reach a spot in Alambagh as his examination form was incomplete.
