Metro Rly defeats RDSO team in soccer

Metro Railway defeated RDSO by 4-0 in their day’s match of the 66th All India Railway Football Championship 2009-’10 at RDSO Stadium. In the first-half,SS Ghosh struck two goals— in the 2nd and 18th minute while in the second-half,J Dey netted two goals— in the 49th and 52nd minute.

In the second match,Western Railway played a goalless draw against Northeast Frontier Railway. Northeast Frontier Railway with 8 points has stood first with 8 points while Western Railway secured the second position with 7 points. Both the teams have qualified for the knock-out stage to be played at CLW Chittaranjan in January. Though West Central Railway also secured 7 points but it could not qualify.
