According to a release issued by the government, the villages bordering Nepal and also those in the Naxal-affected areas should get regular power supply during the night hours too. The CM also instructed that those villages where transformers are non-functional should get replacements at the earliest.

The chief minister also ordered that the scholarship amount should be deposited in time in the accounts of the students. Besides, the CM has also directed the authorities concerned to immediately undertake construction works on the 2000 community centres in Ambedkar villages.

The government also directed the DMs to visit the villages to supervise the schemes being implemented under the NREGS and get the job cards issued to the villagers in the village itself.

The divisional commissioners and the DMs would directly talk to the complainants who approach the administration on the Tehsil Diwas.  To maintain transparency in the distribution of scholarship, the government would allot unique identity numbers to the students who are beneficiaries.
