Maya govt neck-deep in corruption: Ajit

Alleging the Mayawati government was neck-deep in corruption,RLD chief Ajit Singh on Tuesday asked the people to oust it in next year’s Assembly polls.

Agra: Alleging the Mayawati government was neck-deep in corruption,RLD chief Ajit Singh on Tuesday asked the people to oust it in next year’s Assembly polls. Previous governments in the state too had “cheated” people and failed to address their problems,Singh said. He asked the people to vote for his party’s candidates in the upcoming Assembly elections.

Two leaders join Congress

New Delhi: Ahead of the Assembly elections,the Congress on Tuesday announced that two leaders from the state had joined the party. Senior vice president of Akhil Bhartiya Pal Mahasabha Yashpal Baghel and another leader from Uttar Pradesh Yogendra Faujdar have joined the party,a press release issued by the Congress said.
