Martyr Manoj

A number of programmes were organised across the city in loving memory of Kargil martyr Captain Manoj Pandey. Poets from all over India came together for ‘Zara Yaad Karo Qurbani’,a kavi sammelan organised by the Akhil Bhartiya Awadhi Sansthan and Navonmesh at CMS auditorium on Friday night. Poets who rendered their verses in memory of the young martyr included Vineet Chauhan from Alwar,Dr Suresh Awasthi from Kanpur,Ashish Anal from Lakhimpur along with Dr Suresh,Dr Nuzhat Anjum and Vyanjana Shukla from Lucknow.

The programme was compered by poet Mukul Mahaan. Eminent poet Dr Hariom Pawar was presented the ‘Ojasvi Swar Samman 2009’.
