Kidnapped boy rescued,two held

A three-year-old boy,who was kidnapped nearly 10 days ago from Etah,was rescued by police on Saturday. Two persons were also arrested in this connection.

Suraj had gone missing from near his house in the industrial centre on March 30 after which his father Chotte Lal Valmiki filed a report with the police on April 1. Police said that on April 7,Chotte Lal received a call from the kidnappers,who demanded Rs 10 lakh ransom to release the child. Acting on a tip off,a raid was carried out at railway colony from where Suraj was safely rescued and two kidnappers — Bhoora and Mukesh — were arrested,said police.
