Katiyar: PM should try for out-of-court solution

“Some people have filed an application in court,requesting it to examine the possibility of finding an amicable solution through dialogue,but these are only a few individuals,” said Katiyar. “I request the Prime Minister to take the initiative for an out-of-court settlement talks.” Such a dialogue,he said,was initiated by former prime minister Atal Behari Vajpayee and even though a date was fixed,it could not take place due to unavoidable circumstances.

Katiyar said he and other devotees want a grand Ram temple built at the spot,but with harmony.

“We welcome the step taken by the court to call the parties to hear them about the possibility of a settlement,” he said. “We will also respect the judgment. The party in whose favour the decision comes will accept it,while the other will simply move Supreme Court.”

Temporary jails to come up ahead of verdict
MUZAFFARNAGAR:The Uttar Pradesh government will establish temporary jails in every district of the state ahead of the Allahabad High Court verdict on Ayodhya title suit. Separate jails will be established for men and women in every district,said DIG (Jail) A K Pandey.

The district authorities have already identified some government buildings or colleges to set up jails in Muzaffarnagar,Meerut,Bulandshahr,Ghaziabad,Saharanpur and Bijnore districts.

In Muzaffarnagar,while the jail for women will be located in a Barat Ghar,the jail for men will be set up in a college in Nagla village. “We have taken all precautionary measures to ensure that peace and communal harmony is not disturbed after the court verdict on September 24,” said Pandey. PTI
