Junior engineer found murdered in Etah

A junior engineer (JE) of Electricity Department was found murdered in Aliganj area of Etah district on Thursday. The motive behind the murder is yet to be known.

Etah SSP Rakesh Pradhan told The Indian Express that RP Saxena (53),who was posted as JE with Electricity Department in the district for last six years,did not return after he left home for a walk at 8.30pm on Wednesday. His body was found by locals about two kilometres away from his house on Thursday morning,after which they informed the police.

Pradhan also said that there were strangulation marks around his neck. The post-mortem examination report too confirmed the cause of death as strangulation.
