Inter BSC boxing off to a flying start

The Inter Boys Sports Company (BSC) Boxing Championship got off to a flying start at 11 Gorkha Rifles Regimental Centre (11 GRRC) at Lucknow Cantonment on Monday evening. The event was inaugurated by Brig. HGV Singh,Commandant 11 GRRC.

A total of eight bouts were played on the inaugural day. In the 44 kg weight category,Arjun of BSC ASI and Ravi Gupta of 11 GRRC emerged winners in their bouts; In the 48 kg weight category,KA Sylmbarason of MEG and Robinson of 11 GRRC won their bouts; In 52 kg weight category,Pappu Tamang of 58 GTC and Ajay Khanthala of BEG triumphed while in the 63 kg weight category,Kiran Singh of 11 GRRC and Ravi Singh of 58 GTC emerged winners.
