Unemployed BTech,BPharma graduates to be made teachers
Driven by unemployment,BTech and BPharma graduates have enrolled themselves to receive primary teachers’ training so they can become eligible for jobs in schools in rural areas. Among the 300 students selected for the teachers’ training course at the District Institute of Educational Training (DIET) in Kanpur,while 35 have degrees in BTech,three are BPharma and two biotech graduates. Another has a degree to practice dentistry.

MGNREGS social audit in Lucknow
Lucknow: The Lucknow district administration began a two-day social audit under MGNREGS at 54 gram panchayats in eight blocks on Wednesday. Apart from verifying the number of works with actual entries on the job cards,officials will also check the works done under the scheme.CDO,Lucknow,Alok Tiwari,said the audit is being conducted on the guidelines of the Centre.
