History-sheeter shot dead by miscreants

A history-sheeter was shot dead in Lucknow’s Aliganj area on Saturday evening.

Gaffur Ghosi,45,was returning home when two unidentified miscreants on a motorcycle shot at him near Triveni Nagar post office. Ghosi had 11 criminal cases lodged against him in Itaunja and Aliganj police stations. He used to run a milk dairy.

The police suspect that Ghosi was murdered due to old rivalry. “We are looking into details about Ghosi,” said Kalyan Singh,Staton Officer of the Aliganja police station.
