A devastating five wicket haul by Ajay Kumar went a long way as Eram Cricket Club defeated Apsara Cricket Club by five wickets in their pre-quarterfinal match of the 2nd Eram Cup cricket tournament,at Northern Railway Stadium.

Abhijeet Sinha Cricket Academy (ASCA) emerged winners in the All India JK Tyre cricket tournament played at Sattal,Nainital. As per a press release from ASCA,they were declared winners as they topped the points table after three matches.

The team of Headquarter,Delhi defeated East Zone by seven wickets while North Zone beat South Zone by seven wickets in their respective league matches of the 5th All India Prasar Bharti Cricket Tournament being held at Lucknow. Hockey tourney
An all-important goal by Kuldeep through a penalty-corner awarded to ‘Babu’ Society Trainees team in the 28th minute helped his team in defeating Gudama Club by 1-0 in the opening match of the district-level hockey tournament at KD Singh ‘Babu’ Stadium,Lucknow.

In another match of the same tourney,KD Singh ‘Babu’ Stadium trainees’ team beat St Francis’ College by 3-0. The goal-scorers were Rohit (25th minute),Naval (28th minute; through PC) and Salman (35th minute). Earlier,Ajay Kumar Tripathi,ARTO,Lucknow inaugurated the tournament.
