Funk-Key in Town

His costume takes more to get out of than to get into,but he is enjoying every bit of his new role of ‘Funk-Key’ in an interactive TV commerical.

“I am quite a gaming person and when Pepsico approached me to play a video game character,I jumped into the suit in which I fly,hop around and there are hundreds of clones of mine to do all kind of funky stuff,” said Vindu Dara Singh,in Lucknow to give a glimpse of the new character in the serial advertisement that also features Sanjay Dutt and Ranbir Kapoor. The character played by Kapoor has to cross various levels and reach the Pepsi bottle,while viewers get the chance to sms an option to help him get there.

“I am not in any race and accept all offers that come my way,” said Singh,who came pretty close to winning the booty in Bigg Boss. “I have a bit role in the forthcoming Akshay Kumar-starrer Housefull and I am playing a cop in Punjabi film Lions of Punjab,which is under production.

“Dad (Dara Singh) is in Chandigarh with my younger brother Amreek at our family-owned Dara Studio on Mohali road,which is venue more for marriages and functions than film shoots. We just might revive our production work if worthy projects come up.”
