Four commit suicide in Lucknow

Four persons,including a policeman and two women,allegedly committed suicide in separate incidents in the city,police said here on Thursday.

Police said that depressed over some family matter,25-year-old Shiv Pratap Narain Singh,who was posted in Special Operation Group (SOG) in Government Railway Police,shot himself dead at his Vastu Khand residence in Gomti Nagar area on Wednesday.

In two separate incidents,Neelu (19) committed suicide by hanging herself from a ceiling in Bhadewan area while Nirmala (60),depressed over her prolonged illness,consumed poison in Hussainganj area,they said.

In yet another incident,Pramod Yadav (24) committed suicide by hanging himself from a tree in Fatehnagar in Malihabad area,they said.
