Actress-turned-film quiz host confesses shes a born movie freak
An age at which kids play ghar-ghar or with the doctors set, actress Divya Dutta was putting up shows for her friends in which she would be a silverscreen siren, asking her mother to arrange samosas and sweets for the viewers.
The show brought me face to face with so many other film buffs of my kind who live and breathe cinema, said Dutta, whose forthcoming films include My Friend Pinto, Dev Anands Chargesheet in which I have a very interesting part opposite Naseeruddin Shah and Zilla Ghaziabad and Madhur Bhandarkars Heroine, besides three Hollywood projects including Heartland, which is ready for release.
My career graph has been unlike the typical divas in that I have done a handful but substantial parts which are remembered. I have no regrets about the fate of Monica which was produced and largely shot in Lucknow. I would love to do any other similar project that comes my way, she said.
She is moved by the news of ace fashion photographer passing away this morning.
My first portfolio was shot by him. I remember the mess I was looking like when I reached for the shoot and how he transformed me to look like a million dollars in the kind of pictures only he could take, said the actress who might include this experience in the autobiographical novel she is busy penning and is likely to be out by next
year.
