A highly decomposed body of 48-year-old man was found inside his house in Bazaar Khala area of Lucknow on Saturday night. Yogendra Kumar Trivedi,an employee in Lucknow Development Authority (LDA),was staying alone in the house. His wife stays separately along with their 14-year-old daughter in Aliganj locality of Lucknow.

The incident came to light when residents of the area found foul smell coming out of his house. They informed about it to the police who broke open the door and found the body lying on the floor.

The body has been sent for postmortem. We did not suspect any foul play as the house was found locked from inside. The victims wife was not staying with him, said Inspector,Bazaar Khala,Sarangdhar Dwivedi.
