The Fatehpur police have begun further investigation into a murder case after they found that two accused were implicated falsely in the case by a senior sub-inspector.
The police had sought courts permission for further investigation when they found in their preliminary inquiry that two youths,Shashi Kumar and Shiv Kumar,both residents of Naubasta in Kanpur,were falsely implicated in the case by senior sub-inspector Vijay Kumar Bhadoria over a financial dispute.
The murder had taken place in March in Khaga area of Fatehpur. The police submitted its charge-sheet in the court against them.
Superintendent of Police,Fatehpur,Amit Pathak has put Bhadoria under suspension and also initiated departmental inquiry against him. Bhadoria was posted at the Khaga police station.
The preliminary inquiry was conducted on a complaint stating that both youths are wrongly framed to settle an old dispute, said SP,Fatehpur,Amit Pathak. He added that during further investigation statements of witnesses would be recorded again.
Shashi Kumar is lodged in a jail since September 5,while Shiv Kumar is absconding. The charge-sheet against them has been filed.
According to Pathak,during preliminary inquiry it came into light that Bhadoria while he was posted in Kanpur in 2007 had a dispute with Shashi Kumar and Shiv Kumar over money.
A complaint was filed complaint against Bhadoria with the Anti-Corruption Organisation (ACO) office in Lucknow. The dispute was settled after Bhadoria returned them their money.
Irked,Bhadoria developed enmity with the duo and booked youths in the murder of Anees whose body was found in Khaga area of Fatehpur district. A resident of Kanpur area,Anees had gone to Fatehpur to meet his in-laws.
