The Congress released a list of 9 candidates of the 12 Assembly seats in the upcoming state bypolls on Friday. While the party declared the names of some of the important seats like Padrauna,Kol Asla and Etawah,names on three seats is yet to be declared. Among the names announced,two names attracted most attention Mohini Devi from Padrauna and Abhishek Kumar Singh from Rari. While Mohini Devi is mother of Union Minister of State for Surface Transport R P N Singh,Abhishek Singh is son of former UPCC president Arun Kumar Munna. Padrauna has been vacated by R P N Singh after he was elected to the Lok Sabha. Interestingly,Vinod Yadav,who joined Congress on Friday itself was also given ticket from Bhathana Assembly seat and Santosh Tiwari,who was Raj Babbars nominee for Etawah seat has also been selected as the candidate from Etawah. Other names include JN Tiwari from Isauli,former legislator Chet Ram from Powayan,Neelmani Gautam from Mugal Sarai and JP Singh from Kol Asla. The remaing seats are Lucknow,Jhansi and Lalitpur.
