Cong leader held for hate remark on Twitter

Lucknow SSP Pravin Kumar said Mishra made some provocative remarks on twitter and an FIR was lodged against him.

Police Wednesday arrested Congress leader Amaresh Mishra for allegedly making provocative remarks on microblogging site twitter. An FIR for allegedly spreading hatred was lodged against Mishra at Lucknow’s Hazratganj police station Monday after a complaint was received by Lucknow Police’s cyber crime cell. A team of Lucknow Police was sent to NCR where Mishra was located. Lucknow SSP Pravin Kumar said Mishra made some provocative remarks on twitter and an FIR was lodged against him after police received a complaint. The SSP said a team of Lucknow Police was sent to Noida, where Mishra’s location was traced.
