Rajesh and Nupur Talwar’s lawyers on Monday submitted the couples passports to the remand magistrate at the Ghaziabad district court.

Talwars submit passports in Ghaziabad district court

New Delhi: Rajesh and Nupur Talwar’s lawyers on Monday submitted the couples passports to the remand magistrate at the Ghaziabad district court. Talwars’ lawyer Satish Tamta submitted the passports in the court.

“The passports were submitted in the remand magistrate’s court and not in the special CBI court as it was a holiday at the district court,” Tamta added. Further hearing in the Arushi Talwar-Hemraj double murder case is scheduled for Tuesday. Last week,the apex court had stayed criminal proceedings against the dentist couple for the double murder case.

CMD of PNB in Lucknow today

Lucknow: The chairman and managing director of the Punjab National Bank,K R Kamath,will be visiting Lucknow on Tuesday. During the visit,Kamath will attend a board meeting at the Indian Institute of Management,Lucknow and later visit the bank’s circle office in Gomti Nagar,said a press release.

Cops arrest dacoit wanted in 3 states

Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Police on Monday arrested a dacoit in Agra having several cases against him in three states. The dacoit,Rajveer Singh,who carried a reward of Rs 30,000 on his head,was arrested after an encounter at Khairaghar in Agra,the police said. Singh is wanted in 16 criminal cases,including attempt to murder and dacoity. He was wanted by police in UP,Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan.
