The BSP on Monday expelled party leader Ram Lakhan Pasi whose name had been announced as the partys candidate for Rae Bareli Lok Sabha seat, accusing him of indiscipline.
In a statement party general secretary Naseemuddin Siddiqui said Pasi, who was given the charge of Rae Bareli, had failed to get along with the partys Dalit workers who are active in the area and often had disputes with them. Siddiqui said Pasi was still continuing his relations with other parties and gave more importance to them than the BSP. He was also indulging in indiscipline,he said. When contacted,Pasi said he was doing very well in Rae Bareli and was going to make an impact there. He said he did not know what led to his expulsion. I had also failed to pay the money demanded by the party for providing the ticket, he alleged.
