Akhilesh clean chit to MLA

Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav,who is also state president of Samajwadi Party (SP),has given a clean chit to his MLA Mohammad Ziyauddin Rizvi who was served an explanation notice after he reportedly blamed two senior ministers for corrupt practices in the district administration.

Rizvi represents Sikanderpur seat in Ballia.

Party’s state spokesperson Rajendra Choudhary said Akhilesh was satisfied with the explanation submitted by Rizvi and has decided not to take any action against him.

Rizvi is understood to have denied levelling allegations against ministers Ambika Choudhary and Ram Govind Choudhary.
