Three new cases,guidelines issued

Three more cases of swine flu were reported from three districts — Jagaddal in North 24-Parganas,Howrah and Kolkata districts — on Thursday.

Three more cases of swine flu were reported from three districts — Jagaddal in North 24-Parganas,Howrah and Kolkata districts — on Thursday. Minister of State for Health Chandrima Bhattacharya said one of them has been discharged while the other two are getting treatment.

The health department,meanwhile,directed all nine medical colleges and Beleghata ID Hospital to create separate space in their hospital for collection of swab test. They have also directed the doctors and hospital staffs that based on body weight and age oseltamivir tablets should be administered to swine flu patients. All district hospitals and medical colleges have been instructed to reserve 5-10 beds for treatment of HINI patients.
