Think Pink

Despite over 40,000 weddings in Delhi last weekend,guests braved the traffic and the icy chill to make it to the Salvatore Ferragamo store at The Emporio. The celebration,held to support breast cancer awareness,turned out to be a showcase for seriously fabulous fashion — bags,shoes and accessories,specifically in pink,the colour associated with breast cancer awareness. Actor Sonam Kapoor made a fleeting appearance in an indigo blue outfit teamed with cage heels,and strolled around,observing the pink illumination of the mall for the evening. “I try to create time for issues I care about,” said Kapoor before ducking into her car. The evening continued,as other guests like designer Ranna Gill and socialite Kalyani Chawla (appropriately kitted out in a pink jacket) mingled with Pia Singh of DLF,while singer Sonam Kalra sang Diamonds are a girl’s best friend.
