A special team of STF arrested two persons in central Kolkata on Saturday with a huge consignment of fake Indian currency notes of face value Rs 2.46 lakh.

The fake currency notes were found in a shop on Free School Street near New Market. The arrested persons have been identified as Mohammad Taumi and Sheikh Siraj,both residents of Malda district.
