Seven IPS officers promoted

Seven IPS officers of IG rank,Surajit Kar Purokayastha,IG,law and order,West Bengal police,Amarnath Sarker,IG,railways,D P Tarenia,IG,north Bengal,Rakhaldas Mukhopadhyay,IG,forests,Anil Kumar,IG,welfare,Shibaji Ghosh,IG,Armed Police,north Bengal and J. S. Nalwa,IG,vigilance,Kolkata Municipal Corporation,have been promoted to the ADG rank. Chief Minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee is likely to sign the order on Wednesday.
