Racing each other,buses kill two

Two competing buses of routes 219 and 215 on Saturday resulted in the death of two. The incident took place at 8.10 in the morning near the Patipukur Rail Bridge. One cyclist died on the spot while a lady succumbed to injuries at RG Kar Hospital. Two more have been admitted to the hospital with injuries.

Eye witnesses said there was no traffic police in the area. Local MLA Sujit Basu visited the spot to take stock of the

situation.
