The Trinamool men allegedly abducted ex-MLA Nanda Dulal Majhi. However,he was released later.

Darjeeling tripartite talks today

Gangtok: A 12-member team of the Gorkha Janmukti Morcha will participate in tripartite talks on the Gorkhaland issue between the party and representatives of the West Bengal and Central governments in New Delhi on Sunday. The members of the GJM team include party General Secretary Roshan Giri,Joint Secretary Binay Tamang and Spokesperson Harka Bahadur Chettri. The GJM has postponed its proposed series of bandhs in the hills in view of the tripartite talks.
