HC rejects Modi bail plea

The Calcutta High Court rejected the bail of Rajkishore Modi,Managing Director of Vedic Village on Wednesday. Modi,arrested in connection with the arson at the resort and seizure of arms and ammunition stockpiles, had filed two bail petitions in the High Court last week. Both the petitions were rejected by a Division Bench of Justices D P Sengupta and Shayamal Kanti Chakraborty.
