Goa advance to semis

Goa blanked Punjab 3-0 at the Yuba Bharati Krirangan here on Saturday to secure a place in the semi-final of the 64th Santosh Trophy. Cavin Lobo scored a brace,while Branco Cardozo added to the tally to see the defending champions bag six points from their first two matches.

Earlier,in another Group A quarter-final league match,Services shrugged off their last match defeat to register a 2-1 win over Karnataka. Dileep M and substitute Shaji A D’Silva scored for the winners,while J Karthigeyan pulled one back for Karnataka.
