Drunken youths attack woman

A woman in her 20s was attacked with blade by four drunken youths after she protested against their nusiance in the locality. The incident took place at Palladaha area in Biuzpur in North 24-Paraganas very close to where on Monday a doctor was hacked to death for objecting to eve-teasing.

The woman,who is a homemaker,has been admitted to a local hospital. “A complaint has been registered and we have arrested two of the accused – Raju Chandra and Bhakta Debnandi,” said police.
