(Image source: PTI) As part of the ‘Swachhata hi Seva’ initiative of the Central government, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel participated in Safai Zumbesh (cleanliness campaign) in the Ranip and Ghatlodia areas of Ahmedabad that fall within their respective constituencies.
A press release fro m the BJP stated that Shah participated in the cleanliness drive in Ranip area of Sabarmati Assembly constituency that is part of his Gandhinagar Lok Sabha constituency.
He was joined by Sabarmati MLA Harshad Patel, Ahmedabad Mayor Pratibha Jain, Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation standing committee chairman Devang Dani and former Sabarmati MLA Arvind Patel.
CM Patel participated in a cleanliness drive at his Ghatlodia constituency of Ahmedabad city. He was joined by Deputy Mayor Jatin Patel and Ahmedabad Municipal Commissioner M Thennarasan in the campaign.
