MSU to launch revamped BBA programme

The Faculty of Commerce at the Maharaja Sayajirao University (MSU) in Vadodara has completely revamped and added new features to the curriculum of the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) course to equip the students for advantage in the modern business environment.

The Faculty of Commerce at the Maharaja Sayajirao University (MSU) in Vadodara has completely revamped and added new features to the curriculum of the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) course to equip the students for advantage in the modern business environment.

The BBA course,launched by the Faculty of Commerce in 1997,is a flagship management programme of the university at the undergraduate level.

As business management students today are expected to possess not only expert knowledge in business studies but also a multidimensional personality and analytical skills,some major changes are introduced in the BBA programme from the next academic year,i.e. 2012-13.

A new course structure is introduced,totalling 177 credits in six semesters. The 177 credits are divided into eight courses in each semester. Several new business-related courses like “Mathematics for Business”,“Managing Business Innovation” and “Logistics Management” have been added to the curriculum.

Logic and Practical Ethics,Visual Arts,Stress Management,Basic Graphic Design,Problem Solving and Analytical Reasoning,Indian Literature with Management Perspective etc. are the compulsory subjects from the non-business studies fields added in the curriculum.
