Amitabhs aalap
Amitabh Bachchan surprised everyone who was working on the music of the film Aladin. While working on the song O Re Saawariya,Bachchan came up with a sudden aalap that went perfectly with the song. Music directors Vishal and Shekhar heard this and loved it so much that they actually added it to the song that they had composed. Doing an aalap is not easy and requires thorough practice. But Amitji did it wonderfully and thats really amazing. adds Vishal. In fact,this aalap was loved so much that now the films promo opens with it. Bachchan sure is the master of all trades!
Dare to dread
Shes known for her delicate feminine grace,but Katrina Kaif has finally decided to experiment with her looks for her next film Blue. The actress is sporting a gothic grunge look for the first time and it is complete with a pierced lip,dreadlocks and tattoos. Katrina plays Zayed Khans girlfriend in the film and since hes a daredevil biker,her role needed to match it. Katrina loves her new look and gives credit to designer Rocky S. Lets just wait and see how her male fans react to this not-so-pretty new avatar.
Dutt of course
We hear that the normally choosy Sanjay Dutt didnt require much convincing to come on board for the film Aladin. The moment the story was narrated to him,he said yes. We think this might have had something to do with the fact that the person to introduce Sanjay to the concept was Big B. Apparently,after getting the narration from Sujoy Ghosh,Amitabh could think of no one but Sanjay to play the role of the ringmaster. So he called him up pronto. Looks like Big Bs magic always works.
