An FIR under sections 281(1) (rash driving) and 106(1) (causing death by negligence) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) was registered. Out to attend a wedding, two students on a motorcycle were mowed down to death by a Santro car in Outer North Delhi’s Shahbad Dairy area on Friday, the Delhi Police said.
According to the police, a PCR call was received on Friday night reporting the incident.
“On December 5, information regarding the accident was received at the Shahbad Dairy Police Station. At the accident spot, police found one Santro car and a two wheeler” DCP (Outer North) Hareshwar Swami said.
The victims were identified as Ansh and Yashodhan -both eighteen-year-old in age, he added. The car was driven by one Akash, 22, police said.
“The injured were rushed to the BSA hospital where Ansh was declared brought dead.While availing treatment, Yasodhan was also declared dead,” DCP Swami said,
