Two held for duping 20 persons

The Ghaziabad Police on Monday arrested two individuals for allegedly duping over 20 aspiring cricketers of lakhs of rupees. The arrested individuals have been identified as Amit Chaudhary and Shishir Jain. Police officials said the duo promised the cricketers,all between the age of 16 and 19,spots in various IPL and Ranji teams in return for remuneration.

“There were complaints against them at the Kavinagar Police station for the past 4 months,after which they went into hiding. There was a reward of Rs 5,000 on their capture as well. They have admitted to their crime,” said Senior Superintendent of Police,Raghubir Lal.
