Training session for BJP councillors

BJP Central leadership expressed displeasure over works done by its councillors.

Facing flak for not being “thorough” in their work, councillors of the three Municipal Corporations of Delhi have been scheduled to attend a two-day training session next week at Constitution Club. Sources said the orientation session was organised after the BJP Central leadership expressed displeasure over works done by its councillors.

“Corporations have become the party’s weak point, something that the Opposition always attacks us over. Our councillors need to know their powers too,” a senior Delhi BJP leader said, adding that the session would commence on Tuesday.
Alok Kumar, national convener, training, said the programme has been divided into three parts.
