Ahead of the inauguration of the Indian International Convention and Expo Centre (IICEC) by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday, the Delhi Traffic Police made several restrictions and diversions in the city and issued an advisory Saturday.
The advisory said that the route from NH-48 to Normal Dham Nala (UER-II) will be affected during the whole day. “Commuters are also advised to avoid UER-II (NH-48 to Normal Dham Nala),” said the advisory.
Commuters have also been advised to take alternate route for the following stretches:
For Najafgarh from NH-8: Take Bijwasan Najafgarh Road.
For NH-48 through UER-II from Najafgarh/Dwarka: Take a left turn from Dhulsiras Chowk towards Dwarka Sector 23 and can use Road number 224.
For Gurugram from Dwarka: Take Dhulsiras Road towards Bamnoli Village and can use Najafgarh Bijwasan road.
Residents of Dwarka Sub-city and West Delhi: Take Palam flyover to reach destinations.
The advisory added that in order to minimise inconvenience, commuters are advised to plan their journeys in advance.
