Teen,rickshaw-puller killed in mishap

A 16-year-old schoolgirl died when the rickshaw she was travelling in was hit by a speeding bus in Noida on Friday. The rickshaw-puller was also killed,police said,adding that three other students had minor injuries and were admitted in Kailash Hospital. The accident occurred at 7.30 am when four students of Central School,located in Sector-24,were going to school. The chartered bus collided with the rickshaw near Sector 25,killing the victim,Suchita Majumdar,on the spot. Suchita,a resident of Jalvayu Vihar,was the daughter of a wing commander. Bus driver Sarvajeet Singh allegedly tried to flee,but residents caught him and handed him over to the police. A case has been registered against him.
