St Stephen’s won’t reduce seats

St Stephen’s College on Monday said it would not reduce the number of seats in undergraduate courses at the college. The college had earlier decided to drop 50 undergraduate seats from the new four-year undergraduate format due to “lack of infrastructure”. The 50 remaining seats had been given to English and Economics departments. According to university officials,the DU administration had informed St Stephen’s College that it cannot reduce the number of students.
