She’s got the look-book 

The collection comprises 20 pieces; most are resort while there are a few cocktail frocks too. “They’re all designed by me; some of the fabric is developed by me too,” she says.

“A few people who I respect recommended her based on what she was wearing at Nitasha Nanda’s 40th birthday,” says Tina Tahiliani Parikh,proprietor of Ensemble. “We were doing the resort promo and we were looking for that one new thing. Ramona’s a glamorous girl herself and has made some lovely corset dresses and some dressy kaftans for the day. She’s also been an old client so it made it that much easier.”

The resort wear is simple,something you can have fun with and accessorise. “You can dress it up or dress it down,depending on where you are going with it,” she says,already talking the talk of fashion mavens.

The cocktail dresses are in silk jewel tones,but the lady insists their simplicity can render them classics. “You can surely pull these out 10 years later and wear them. In fact,every piece I’ve made is like a classic.”

While her annual wardrobe expense account might match a small country’s GDP,Narang Rodella promises you won’t have to break a bank to shop for her clothes. Everything is priced between Rs 10,000 and Rs 20,000.
