It may have been a good five years since he last did a grand finale show at the Lakme Fashion Week (LFW) but thats not to say that Sabyasachi Mukherjee hasnt enjoyed a good rapport with the Mumbai-based fashion event. The designer is slated to present the grand finale show at the Winter Festive 2013-14 season of the Lakme Fashion Week (LFW) on August 27. His show promises to be high on royalty and luxury,two traits that have come to be synonymous with his brand. Presenting my collection at LFW is always a special occasion. This is where I made my debut as a designer. It provided me with a platform to be recognised by the world of fashion. Returning as a grand finale designer after five years is exciting. The show will be truly grand, said Mukherjee.
But,before he readies himself for finale duty,Mukherjee whose outfits for actor Vidya Balans Cannes outings,inspired by Maharani Gayatri Devi,drew much flak will be working on his couture week line. Looks like this will be a busy year for him; heres hoping he redeems whatever ground he lost at Cannes.
