Powerless Sunday

Power outages in several parts of South Delhi made an already hot and humid Sunday worse for residents. Officials of Delhi Transco Limited said transformers at the Bamnauli and Lodhi Road grids tripped around 2.30 pm. The 220 KV Bamnauli grid feeds areas such as Vasant Kunj,JNU,RK Puram,Adchini while the glitch in the 220 KV Lodhi Road grid affected supply to Nizamuddin and East of Kailash areas.
