There is the whole spectrum — from MK Parandekar and Ganesh Pyne to the up-and-coming Neelkant Choudhary and Avijit Dutta — as Gallerie Ganesha celebrates its 25th anniversary. On display are works of over 35 artists, and art over a 100 years.

“The many artists who have been part of the gallery’s journey are showcased, based on their styles and genres,” says gallerist Shobha Bhatia. The Parandekar watercolour, with a serene landscape of a man rowing his boat, is rare, she says. Space is also given to folk and tribal art, including well-known Gond artist Jangarh Singh Shyam. “It is an intrinsic part of our journey, to keep the folk tradition alive,” says Bhatia.

The exhibition at Gallerie Ganesha, E-557, Greater Kailash II, is on till March 5. Contact: 29226043
