MCD-Oxfam welfare scheme for slums

The MCD and Oxfam have joined hands to provide better education and health services in selected slums in the Capital. The scheme would benefit 5,000 children and 2,500 families. The programme will be started in 20 schools to demonstrate inclusive education and health services model in selected slums of the Capital,Delhi Mayor Prithvi Raj Sawhney said while launching the programme. A baseline survey will be conducted to identify 20 schools where the initiative will be implemented first.
